Question

I was contacted by a housing provider that offered to assist with making my Convenience Store Women's Event hotel reservation. What should I do?

Answer

Warning from The Convenience Store Women's Event (CSW) of potential “poachers”: The CSW does not release any contact lists to anyone except official show vendors. If you are contacted by any vendor, always ask them to send you details in writing and check our official event website to make sure they are show sponsors/vendors. If you are contacted by a non-official vendor, or are unsure, please provide us with the details regarding these calls or emails. We will follow up aggressively with them. This includes outside companies offering hotel rooms, listings in show directories, lists of attendees/contacts, as well as more standard items for your booth such as A/V or internet.

The companies that we have been made aware of are Convention Housing Planners Corp, Expo Housing Services and Exhibitors Housing Management. Please let us know as soon as possible if another company reaches out to you.

CSW is not utilising the services of any housing agent or third party and The Charleston Place will never reach out to attendees to solicit booking rooms.

What is the group rate at The Charleston Place?

Answer

Your registration covers a 2-night (room & tax) stay at The Charleston Place. All reservations will be booked on your behalf by a CSW staff member. You will receive a confirmation email from the hotel once your reservation has been confirmed. If you require any changes, please contact the hotel directly. As a reminder: All additional nights outside of what CSW is covering will be on your own. The group rate will expire on October 1, 2024.

What is the age limit to attend CSW?

Answer

CSW requires all participants to be 21+ years.

Question	What time is check-in and check-out at The Charleston Place?
Answer	Check-in time is 4:00pm and check-out time is 12:00pm.

Question	Is there wireless internet in the meeting space?
Answer	Complimentary wireless internet will be provided throughout the meeting space. Login details will be provided at the conference registration desk.

Question	How do I register for the meeting events?
Answer	General sessions, meals and receptions do not require pre-registration. Details on selecting the special events that you would like to attend will be provided four weeks prior to the conference.

Question	Is parking available at the hotel?
Answer	Self Parking and Valet Parking are both available at The Charleston Place.
