With an entrepreneurial spirit, Stephen Goodrich has made a name for himself nationally as an expert within the payment industry. As chief executive officer at ZipLine based in Portland, Maine, Goodrich guides the senior management team and corporate direction of the company’s payment technologies, making him a thoughtful and powerful speaker.
Almost three decades ago, along with his brother, Goodrich started his first company, First Merchants Bancard Services (FMBS), a provider of Visa and MasterCard processing services. FMBS was acquired by iPayment in 2002 and, only a year later, Goodrich founded PowerPay, a provider of processing services. He led the company to remarkable accomplishments, including recognition as one of the fastest-growing companies on the Inc. 500 list.
Credited with helping to establish what is known as the “Portland payments cluster,” Goodrich headquartered all three of his fast-growing payments companies in Maine, building a hub of professional expertise in the payment space.

Goodrich graduated from the University of Rhode Island. He lives in Palm Beach, Florida, and Portland, Maine, with his two children.
